GasTech stall at event exhibited Dual Fuel Technology for use with Stationary Power Generation and Transportation. The exhibit attracted many visitors who were excited to learn about the availability of this innovative technology in India. Post event GasTech has been attracting lot of attention from the prospective users.
First Dual Fuel System Installation at Dharuhera
IGL has embarked on proliferation of PNG network in the town of Dharuhera, a major Industrial hub in Rewari District.

The Dual fuel conversion kit is equipped with ‘Real Time Remote Monitoring System’ of operating parameters for diagnostics.
Dual fuel conversion for diesel engine was concluded in first week of May 2018; it enables replacement of up to 70% of diesel with equivalent amount of natural gas, a cheaper and greener fuel, to reduce pollution of DGset.
After checking saving in fuel cost for first month, customer immediately gave repeat order to convert their 380KVA Diesel Generator at Dharuhera factory.
Dual Fuelling of Diesel Generator used for Residential Society in Delhi
For the second year in row the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (Department of Pollution) banned the usage of Diesel Generators in Delhi from October ’17 through March ’18.
A progressive residential CGHS society in Dwarka, Delhi, evaluated various alternatives to align with the social objective of minimizing particulate matter pollution of Diesel generator; considering the fact that the Generator was used as a backup for around 100 to 150 hours per annum they found Dual Fuelling as the most cost effective solution.
GasTech Solutions, a division of Control Infotech Pvt. Ltd., provided Dual Fuelled system for the Cummins 180 KVA back up DG-set, in the month of March 2018. IGL supported the Gas requirement utilizing the existing gas supply pipeline for domestic cooking gas at the society.
Dual Fuelling enables replacement of up to 70% of diesel with equivalent amount of natural gas, a cheaper and greener fuel, to reduce pollution and unit generation costs.

IGL and GasTech partner to Dual Fuel Backup power for Residential Complexes in NCR
With the backing of strong promoters – GAIL (India) Ltd. and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), IGL– Indraprastha Gas Limited, provides natural gas in the entire NCR (National Capital Region). In a unique spirit of cooperation IGL and Gastech Solutions, a division of Control Infotech Pvt. Ltd. came together to initiate a pilot project in Dual Fueling of backup Diesel Generator (DG) for Victory Crossroads Residential Complex located in Sector 143-B, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The residential complex has multiple flat and uses a 250 KVA DG for its backup power supply. IGL had already laid a gas pipeline to the society for the domestic cooking purposes. The easy availability of gas was used to also install a Dual Fuel kit on the diesel generator (DG) set which will enable replacement of up to 70% of diesel usage with equivalent amount of natural gas. Natural gas is a substantially cheaper and greener fuel. IGL convened a press conference to highlight its successful project to the public and encourage more such residential complexes to come forward to avail of the greener back up power option while substantially reducing their fuel bill.
